Mrs. Edelbaum's graphics 2/3 class worked with Ms. Campanella's IU autistic class to create adaptive autistic books. Ms. Campanella came to the class to give a small lesson about autism and in small groups had students return to her class to observe the students. Students came back humbled and with ideas that neither teacher have thought of. In the end, it wasn't a lesson in advance Photoshop but a lesson in empathy
The students pictured here from East Stroudsburg HS North's brass quintet and chorale performed at the state Capitol Building in Harrisburg on March 8 as part of Music in our School's month. The performance was well-received and the students garnered many compliments from elected officials and staffers as a result of their performance.
