I attended East Stroudsburg University and earned a bachelor of science degree in Elementary Education. My teaching career began in the East Stroudsburg Area School district in 1996. I was happy to join the Resica family in 2010 as a third grade teacher.
My favorite thing about Resica is working with a wonderful group of teachers, students, and families! I am grateful to be part of such a caring community.
Teaching is fun for me because I love getting to know my students. Each day is different from the last, so it never gets dull!
Besides teaching, I also enjoy spending time with family, visiting new places, and relaxing with a good book.Hey, there...my name is Mrs. Segond! From K-12, I attended ESASD. I went on to Kutztown University and graduated in 2005 with a B.S. in Education. While there, I played soccer at the collegiate level. One of THE BEST things I have ever been a part of!Outside of teaching, I love crafting bottles, going on adventures with my yellow lab, Gemma, and driving race cars. My husband, Sam, and I are part of a high performance driving club. We enjoy living life in the fast lane!I'm the head coach of ESHS South Girls' Soccer. It's one of the greatest feelings in the world to stick with your passion and teach life through coaching.
I attended and graduated from Glassboro State College obtaining a B.S. in Elementary Education. I then went on to attend East Stroudsburg University where I earned an M. Ed in Educational Administration. I began teaching at Resica when it opened in 1994.
I have a passion for teaching as I enjoy sharing my love of learning with others. Resica is a wonderful school family because it allows everyone to use their unique gifts to foster learning and growth in our students.
When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, playing the piano, singing, walking, running, and reading.
