Technology Education

Technology Education is an action based program for all students that requires students to use resources to design, produce, use, and assess products and services that extend human potential to improve and control the natural and human made environment.

Technology Education is unique in the way that the staff, through subject matter, can provide active, concrete student involvement.  Students obtain hands-on experiences which is an important ingredient in the learning process.

Technology Education is just one part of general education that allows individuals opportunities for acquisition of the fundamental skills needed to live a productive life in our technological world.

Technology Education should not be confused with Vocation Education.
