Overview
The Business Department strives to offer courses to equip students with valuable, relevant skills and information for their personal use, for their place in the workforce, and for their future career goals.
Up-to-date computer technology, while incorporated into all course offerings, is emphasized in particular in our new 45-minute mini courses. Students learn not only proper keyboarding techniques but also in-depth instruction in Microsoft Word, Access, Excel, and PowerPoint. After completion of these courses, students will be equipped with the skills needed for MOS certification, which is highly regarded by employers in the work force.

Goals
- Develop a Fashion Marketing course to complement the Sports and Entertainment Marketing course that is currently being offered.
- Investigate the need for an additional level of Career Skills, as well as Everyday Law.
- Reinstate the offering of Keyboarding Level 2 as an elective, but change the time frame to 45 minutes.
- Integrate the use of Adobe Photoshop into all relevant business courses.
