Mission Statement

East Stroudsburg Area Senior High School - South, serving a diverse and growing student population, acts as a catalyst to prepare students to fulfill their innate potentials and become creative, productive, and responsible citizens in a changing global community.

Overview

HS South has a rich history of student accomplishments both inside and outside of the classroom. We strive to live our motto of "Be the Best You Can Be" by recognizing ourselves as a cooperative family that includes staff, students, parents, and community members. Our belief in the power of Purple Pride has enriched us. We are a caring, harmonious school community that empowers and enriches all who enter our doors. Although we are a rapidly growing district, we take pride in our old-fashioned, small town values of cherishing each person's uniqueness and celebrating our diversity. Take Exit 308 off of Interstate 80 and turn right on Prospect Street. Proceed to the dead end where it intersects at Analomink Street . Turn left, proceed across the railroad tracks and take the next right. Proceed through the stop sign (you can only go straight). Now you are on North Courtland Street . Approximately three blocks on the left is the Senior High School - South.
