ESASD Hall of Fame

The East Stroudsburg Area School District Halls of Fame program was instituted in 2002 to honor those who have brought honor and prestige to the school district. There are three halls of fame: The Meritorious Hall of Fame; The Music Hall of Fame; and The Athletic Hall of Fame.

Meritorious Hall of Fame

The Meritorious Hall of Fame recognizes people in two separate categories- alumnus or contributor. An alumnus may have demonstrated high achievement as a student and must have gained distinction in their chosen field. A contributor is a person who has made a significant contribution to the programs of the school district by being an innovator or by showing outstanding support and service to the programs of the school district.

Music Hall of Fame

The Music Hall of Fame honors former student-musicians, conductors and contributors who have brought honor and prestige to the school district's music programs.

Athletic Hall of Fame

The Athletic Hall of Fame honors former student-athletes, coaches and contributors who have brought honor and prestige to the school district's athletic programs. Both living and deceased persons are considered for membership.

Hall of Fame Steering Committee

The Halls of Fame Steering Committee members are Linda George (Chairperson), Dave Eilenberger (Treasurer), James Werkheiser (Historian), Dora Arnold (Secretary), Mark Brown, John DeVivo, Brian Farris, Jerry Fritz, Jenny Galunic, Bob Huffman, Ken Koberlein, Sharon Laverdure, Rhonda Nicholls, Frank Nicoletti, Kevin Summa, Oliver Trojak, and Dave Williamson. 

Citizens are encouraged to nominate people to the Hall of Fame for consideration by completing a nomination form, which can be obtained in the main office of any of the schools of the school district or by printing the appropriate document below.
