Brenda Hartmann

East Stroudsburg Area High School Class of 1979…Served as Co-Captain and was named Most Valuable Athlete of field hockey, basketball and softball teams during her senior year…Earned 1979 ESHS Best All-Around Female Athlete Award…Awarded full, four-year athletic scholarship (field hockey) to Northern Michigan University…Lettered all four years in field hockey (1979-83) at Northern Michigan University, serving as Co-Captain, and honored as Most Valuable Player during senior year…Has coached field hockey (4 years) and lacrosse (2 years) at high school level and field hockey and golf (4 years) at college level.

 


Frank J. Lupin

ESHS Class of 1957…3-year starter in football (1954-56), Most Valuable Player and team captain, 1956…4-year starter in baseball (1954-57), team captain, 1957…1962 graduate of East Stroudsburg University, 4-year football starter, leading ground gainer on 1960 squad (7.3 yards per carry), third best in ESU history…Head high school football coach for 18 years, with a record of 103 wins, 41 losses…Had article published in “ Weight Training in Sports and Physical Education ,” 1962…Teacher of health/physical education for 43 years…Assistant football coach at East Stroudsburg University for 23 years, coaching numerous All-American & All-Conference players (#1 offense in country, 1996)…Inducted into ESU Athletic Hall of Fame in 2002.

Paul E. “Candy” Miller

East Stroudsburg High School Class of 1953…Played 3 sports: football (4 years), basketball (3 years), baseball (3 years)…Served as basketball team captain…Member of ESHS Athletic Council (3 years)…Served 2 years in US Army…Major supporter and contributor to East Stroudsburg athletics as one of original founding members of Varsity “E” Club, 1954 to date (50+ years)…Served as a volunteer coach of East Stroudsburg Youth Association football and as a coach & umpire of East Stroudsburg Little League baseball…Member of “Twin City” men's Pennsylvania State Championship softball team that qualified for “World Championship” competition in California…Served on East Stroudsburg Planning Commission & as East Stroudsburg volunteer fireman.

Annette (Yanovitch) Kaiser

East Stroudsburg Area High School Class of 1983…Presented ESHS Most Valuable Athlete Award in gymnastics, 1980, 1982 and 1983…During her high school gymnastics career, earned 11 Northeastern Pennsylvania Gymnastics League Meet first place medals, 11 District XI Gymnastics Meet first place medals and 8 medals in Pennsylvania State Gymnastics Meet competition…Competed in gymnastics at the University of Wisconsin, helping to lead the Badgers to the Big Ten Conference finals as the teams leader in the “all around” category…Currently teaches gymnastics to children…Married to Donald Kaiser with five children (Robert, Nicholas, Kaitlin, Timothy and William).
