The certified staff consisting of teachers, guidance counselors, nurses and dental hygienists numbers approximately 505 individuals. Approximately 50% of the certified staff holds a master's degree or a master's equivalency issued by the Pennsylvania Department of Education. The non-certified staff of the district consists of approximately 500 employees. District employees provide services for a student body of over 7300 students for the 2003-2004 school year.
