~Appropriate Dress at JT Lambert Intermediate School~

  1. Top Left) Shorts should ALWAYS be finger tip length. They should NEVER be cut-off, frayed in any way, and NO spandex.
  2. Top Middle) Tank tops, tube tops, or halter tops are NOT permitted in the school building. They are NOT allowed for boys or girls.
  3. Top Right) Ripped or frayed clothing will NOT be allowed for any student in JTL. NO clothing should be see-through. NO underwear should be showing AT ALL.
  4. Middle Left) Back packs/book bags should be kept in lockers at ALL times. They should be placed there BEFORE homeroom, and retrieved during dismissal AFTER your teacher has dismissed your class. This is for the students' safety. Gym bags are ONLY for gym and they are limited to a "nap sack" size.
  5. Center) NO large earrings of facial piercings that will halt the learning process of any student will be permitted. NO chains or spiked jewelry will be allowed.
  6. Middle Right) Hoodies are NOT to be worn around the waist at ANY time in the school building. Zippered coats or any other piece of "outer wear" will NOT be allowed in the school. Bandanas, hats, head bands, and hoods are NEVER to be worn on the premises.
  7. Bottom Left) Platform shoes or flip flops are NOT permitted in the school building. This rule is applied for the students' health and safety. Shoes OTHER than the ones mentioned must be worn in the building at ALL times.
  8. Bottom Middle) Skirts should be NO shorter than the length of the arm from the shoulder to the tip of your fingers alligned with the side of your body.
  9. Bottom Right) Gym clothes must be worn in gym and NEVER out of gym. They must be kept in your locker BEFORE gym, taken out FOR GYM, and placed in the locker AFTER gym. Pajamas are NOT counted as gym clothes.

 

Those are the rules stated in the school handbook. Please acknowledge, respect, and follow them.
