Mission Statement

Lehman Intermediate School welcomes the task of providing a quality education that enables all students to be responsible, productive citizens in a continually changing world. Every facet of the educational setting fosters independent, critical, and reflective thoughts and actions. In an atmosphere which respects diversity, our students, staff and parents will work together to create a vibrant community prepared for the future.

Overview

The Lehman Intermediate School houses the sixth, seventh, and eighth graders for the north end of the East Stroudsburg Area School District. Students receive all instruction in the CORE subjects (English, Reading, Math, Social Studies, Science and Computer Literacy) within their team while exploratory subjects (Physical Education, Health, Foreign Languages, Home Economics, Tech Education, Library, Art, Music and Skills for Adolescence) and electives (Band and Chorus) are also offered during the six-day cycle. In addition, the school offers a number of specialized programs in the form of after-school, extra-curricular activities.

From the Administration Center's parking lot turn left on North Courtland Street (Business Route 209 North). Proceed through Marshalls Creek and continue for approximately eight miles on Route 209 to the blinker light in Bushkill. At the blinker light turn left and proceed for approximately seven miles on Bushkill Falls Road . You will pass the Tamiment Resort on the left before arriving at the Bushkill Elementary School . The Senior High - North and Lehman Intermediate campus is located on the left side of the road approximately six miles beyond the entrance to the Tamiment Resort at the traffic light.
