Required Summer Reading List - High School Level

Dear Students:

  • Please be advised that all summer reading works must be read by the first day of English class.
  • If you have two English classes because you need to recover credit, it is your responsibility to complete the two summer reading assignments.
  • Every student has been notified by his/her English teacher of next year’s placement and this placement has been verified by the guidance counselor during the student’s scheduling session. If you change your placement before the first day of English class, it is your responsibility to complete the correct summer reading assignment.
  • Assignments for all English grades and levels have been provided below. If you have any questions, please see this year’s English teacher.

AP and Honors English Students
