AYP Status and Information
History of Resica Performance:
At the beginning of the 2008/2009 school year, our district opened a new elementary school, which resulted in the redistricting of some elementary school boundaries. Resica sent approximently 165 students to the new school and we gained approximently 150 new students, between another district elementary school and students who were new to our community. Although the students acclimated well to the change, getting to know new students, their strengths and areas of need takes some time. Therefore, the 2008/2009 was a period of adjustment for all, and we look forward to continuing the learning process with all of our students.
