Only 12 Years Old and Already an Author!

 

     What a day in which to be proud!  On Tuesday, May 22, 2007, twenty 5th grade students unvailed their finest work of art.  Throughout the 2006/2007 school year, the students in Mrs. Piccotti's and Mrs. Metaxas' classroom were able to experience all that goes into writing a book.  The students planned, wrote, edited, revised, edited, revised, (and the editing continued) until, long and behold, a book was born!

     Thanks to the diligent and impecable planning of Mrs. Metaxas, the students were able to present their stories to their parents and family.  This day was certainly one that belonged to the students, as they proudly presented their stories.  Afterwards, the students and their families were treated to many goodies, along with coffee and tea!
