                       Our gift to help others in our community     

       through the United Way of Monroe

       County.

This was our 2nd Annual Fall Festival to benefit the United Way of Monroe County.  The United Way is non-profit organization that reaches out to help support many vital organizations and groups in our community.  Some groups that they provide assistance to are: YMCA, The Burnley Workshop, The Salvation Army, Pocono Healthy Communities Alliance, Boy Scouts/Girl Scouts, and Women's Resources (just to name a few - more information about the United Way can be found at: www.unitedwaymonroe.org). 

This year, we are very proud to be able to present the United Way with a donation of over $1,000.00.  This money was collected in classrooms for the last two weeks of October and through additional ticket purchases for our Fall Festival activities. 

The money we collected was done so knowing that it goes to helping many people in our community. This is truly just a small amount in comparison to the big thank you we give to the United Way for all they do to help others.
