Resica Library Curriculum Map

Disclaimer: The nature of Library Curriculum instruction is such that a unit is introduced and practiced throughout the school year. Our skills are taught and then practiced through real life application whether it is the procedure for checking out a book or the process in which a student completes research to do a report. It is because of the nature of our discipline that our curriculum cannot be departmentalized into being taught only certain weeks. The marking period assignments for each grade level are approximate guidelines for the chronology of each teaching unit. The chronology, not content, is subject to change.

The following table lists a basic chronology for when each unit is introduced. Below you will find details within each unit for each grade level.
