Prior to coming to Resica, my husband and I lived in Las Vegas where I taught first and secong grades. Since moving to the Pocono's and working at Resica, I have been happy teaching reading. I love the staff here, they are smart, fun, and dedicated to helping all students doing their best. Resica student are teh brightes part of my day so I don't miss the hot sunny desert that I loved!
My name is Jenny Rourke, and I've been a Reading Instructional Aide for 9 years at Resica. I earned my Bachelor's of Science Degree from ESU.
In my spare time I like to make quilts. The best thing about Resica is that
it feels like home; everyone is nice and smiles a lot.

I really enjoy teaching English to my ESL students at Resica and I enjoy working with and getting to know their families, their cultures/customs, and tasting the food they prepare and send to school for me. I enjoy spending time with my family, watching my daughters' volleyball games and reading good books.

Before coming to Resica in 2004, I taught second grade for 7 years at Washington Township Elementary School in Bangor and I was an Instructional Aide for 2 years at W.H. Ramsey Elementary School in Stroudsburg. I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary and Early Childhood Education and a Master's of Education in Reading, with Reading Specialist Certification, both earned at East Stroudsburg University.
When I'm not at school I like to spend time with my family and friends, travel,
scrapbook, stamp, quilt, (any kind of craft really) and renovate my home with
my husband.
I truly LOVE working at Resica! We have a wonderful faculty and staff, an
awesome PTO, fantastic families and amazing children. It is a pleasure to
come to work each and every day and spend time with my “Resica family
