Camp Invention

 

A WEEKLONG SUMMER ENRICHMENT DAY EXPERIENCE
FOR CHILDREN ENTERING GRADES ONE THROUGH SIX

The Camp Invention program instills creative problem-solving and
critical-thinking skills that will encourage children's future success.
Nothing could be more important than investing in your children today
for the betterment of their tomorrow.

 

Once again, Mrs. Sue Ellis, a fourth grade teacher at Resica, brought the wonder and excitement of science to our community through Camp Invention.  With the help of her Assistant, Ms. Erin Hubert, and several Camp Counselors, Jr. Counselors, and parent volunteers, 114 students ranging from grades one through six, spent one week in the summer using their creative and scientific skills to problem-solve,

explore machancial science, and to utilize scientific reasoning during many of the daily activities. 

This past summer, the children took part in the Camp Invention program entitled, "Discover".  Below is a description of each program.
