Credit Recovery & ESACA Policies

  • Make-up Opportunity:

The ESACA Credit Recovery Program for the East Stroudsburg Area School District will be held for students who need to “catch up” on their academic work from previous high school years. No student may take a course to “get ahead.”  Only students taking a full course load may apply for credit recovery.

Attendance is monitored through student login.  Students must log in on a daily basis.  Students are advised to spend a minimum of 1 hour a day per full-credit course.

    Technology Equipment:

All students are provided a compatible computer free of charge.  See attached document for Edgenuity system requirements.  System Requirements

    Course Dates:

All courses will begin and end according to the school calendar.

    Student/Teacher Communication & Technical Support:

Students should expect a response to questions and work posted for teacher review within 24 hours.  Students should use email or online communication tools whenever possible to contact their instructors.  The Help Desk is available only for technical problems, and will not assist with coursework questions.  The help desk can be reached at 570-424-8500 ext. 1616 and is available between the hours of 7:00 am and 3:00 pm, Monday through Friday.  Please keep this in mind when working through your course materials.  Edgenuity will provide assistance with any technical issues related to their program.  Contact the Edgenuity Support Team by phone at (877) 202-0338 ext. 3.

The grading policy will follow the East Stroudsburg Area School District high school handbook.  No extension will be granted to complete coursework.  Students must complete at least 85% of the course to earn a passing grade.
