Lehman Intermediate

Mrs. Moretto is an ESASD alumn.  She grew up in Dingmans Ferry, Pa and attended Middle Smithfield, Bushkill Elementary, and Lehman Intermediate.  She graduated from East Stroudsburg High School North in 2009. 

Mrs. Moretto graduated from Arcadia University (formerly Beaver College) in Glenside, Pa in January of 2013 with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and in August of 2013 with a Master's degree in Special Education. She began working for the East Stroudsburg Area School District in January 2013 as a day to day substitute teacher.  In December of 2014, she began working in the Family Consumer Science department as a long term substitute.  During the summer of 2015, she receieved a teaching certification in Family Consumer Science and accepted a position as the District FCS teacher in both Lehman Intermeidate and JT Lambert beginning in the 2015-2016 school year.

The purpose of Family Consumer Science is to teach the students basic skills for finding success in their homes and future careers.  Students learn basic cooking skills, nutrition, sewing skills, laundry, housing, careers, child care, etc.  Technology and direct hands-on activities are the primary methods of instruction within the course.
