She came to the District in December 2013. Mrs. Lurry taught Life Skills at High School North for the past eight years. During that time, she became SAP-certified and was a part of the trauma team. While pursuing her Master's in Educational leadership, she found her passion for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. Mrs. Lurry trains staff on topics surrounding diversity. One of her favorite quotes is "Diversity is having a seat at the table, inclusion is having a voice, and belonging is having that voice be heard."
