• Dear Lehman and High School North Communities

We are happy to welcome a new French teacher to the Lehman and High School North Campuses - Mrs. Etienne-Daniel.

Mrs. Etienne-Daniel was born in Brooklyn, New York, but was raised in Haiti.  At the age of 3, her parents decided to move back to Haiti.  Her mother worked for the United Nations and her father was a businessman.  Mrs. Etienne-Daniel attended Francophone primary and secondary private schools in Haiti that were based on the French curriculum. Her parents decided to send her back to the states to finish her education, so she completed 12th grade at Andrew Jackson High School in Queens, New York.

Mr. Etienne-Daniel attended Queensborough Community College and earned an Associate of Arts degree with a concentration in Education.  She then proceeded to Queens College where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree and was elected to the French Honor Society PI DELTA PHI and the Golden Key National Honor Society with a major in French and minor in Secondary Education.

Mrs. Etienne-Daniel is currently enrolled at East Stroudsburg University in the French Certification program and expects to complete her PA certification requirements sometime this fall.
