Attendance

  • Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year! After 3 years of preparing, the district is gooing paperless. All parents/guardians are to submit absence notes and doctor notes (Doctor notes can be attached if a healthcare appointment is selected under the reason for absence) through their Community Portal Sapphire.

    This can be accomplished through the following steps after signing up for a Community Portal account:

    1. From a Desktop Computer- Log into the Community Portal in Sapphire and click on your student.  On the left and there will be a toolbar, click on “Student Data Forms”.  Once there, click on “Absence Excuse Form”.  Please complete the date and all information requested and submit.

    2. From a Cell Phone- Log into the Community Portal in Sapphire and click on your student. Scroll down to the purple circle with 3 lines and tap on the circle, this brings up some green circles.  Tap on “Student Data Forms”.  Once there, tap on “Absence Excuse Form”.  Please complete the date and all information requested and submit. 

    Notes must be submitted within 3 school days after your return from the absence.

    There is a maximum of 10 days that can be excused by parent notes.

    ESACA STUDENTS: ESACA students, your notes are also due within 3 days of being marked absent due to not logging into online school. Use the guidelines above.

    TRIPS: If you know that you will be absent for a trip or college visit, you must fill out an educational trip form.  These forms can be found in the main office or the attendance office.   The forms are due to the attendance office at least 10 days prior to your scheduled trip.
