I attended East Stroudsburg University and earned a bachelor of science degree in Elementary Education. My teaching career began in the East Stroudsburg Area School district in 1996. I was happy to join the Resica family in 2010 as a third grade teacher.
My favorite thing about Resica is working with a wonderful group of teachers, students, and families! I am grateful to be part of such a caring community.
Teaching is fun for me because I love getting to know my students. Each day is different from the last, so it never gets dull!Besides teaching, I also enjoy spending time with family, visiting new places, and relaxing with a good book.
I attended East Stroudsburg University where I graduated with a B.S. in Elementary Education, Grades K-6 and Special Education, Newborn – Grade 12. I first taught at Resica for the 2014-15 school year and I have now returned to Resica as a Long Term Substitute in third grade for Ms. Ullo
I enjoy teaching because I love helping students discover their love for learning. Resica inspires children to create, problem-solve, and think outside of the box. Beyond acceptance and tolerance, Resica creates a family atmosphere where differences are valued and celebrated.
Outside of teaching, I enjoy spending time outdoors with my husband, three daughters, and our dog, Mabel. We love to spend time together camping, hiking, and swimming in rivers, beaches, and lakes! I also like to unwind with a little art and can often be found out and about face painting or hiding away with some paints and canvases!Hey, there...my name is Mrs. Segond! From K-12, I attended ESASD. I went on to Kutztown University and graduated in 2005 with a B.S. in Education. While there, I played soccer at the collegiate level. One of THE BEST things I have ever been a part of!Outside of teaching, I love crafting bottles, going on adventures with my yellow lab, Gemma, and driving race cars. My husband, Sam, and I are part of a high performance driving club. We enjoy living life in the fast lane!I'm the head coach of ESHS South Girls' Soccer. It's one of the greatest feelings in the world to stick with your passion and teach life through coaching.I started teaching at Resica in 2005. Crazy how time flies! I love teaching at Resica because it feels like a family, celebrates the arts and fosters a love for learning. The staff members support one another and the students are magical and dynamic!
I attended and graduated from Glassboro State College obtaining a B.S. in Elementary Education. I then went on to attend East Stroudsburg University where I earned an M. Ed in Educational Administration. I began teaching at Resica when it opened in 1994.
I have a passion for teaching as I enjoy sharing my love of learning with others. Resica is a wonderful school family because it allows everyone to use their unique gifts to foster learning and growth in our students.
When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, playing the piano, singing, walking, running, and reading.
