I started at teaching at Resica in 1994, but I have been teaching in the district since 1989.
I attended East Stroudsburg University and have a Bachelor of Science in K-12 Health & Physical Education plus 24 additional education credits.
My favorite thing about teaching and about Resica is the students. Resica has the best students! They love to come to Phys. Ed. class and they are motivated to participate. I hope that my students develop an understanding of how important physical activity is for them, not just during physical education classes, but throughout their lifetime.
When I am not teaching, I enjoy doing home remodeling projects, which seem to never end. I am a New York Yankees fan and a New Orleans Saints fan. I like to fish, go to the beach and play tennis. I still play in flag football games and I have taken up cross training.I attended East Stroudsburg University where I received my Bachelor of Science degree in 1991 in Health and Physical Education. I returned to East Stroudsburg University, graduating in 1996 with my Master of Education degree in 1996 in Sports Management.I began teaching at East Stroudsburg Area School District in 1992 and at Resica in 1994, when it opened.
My favorite things about Resica Elementary School and teaching are our students and the dedication of our entire staff. Our students are amazing! My hope is they remember if they have fun, stay active, and show good character, they will be successful throughout life. When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time outdoors and being active. My favorite activities are playing golf, hiking, fishing, and home restoration projects. I also enjoy vacationing and exploring the great state of Maine! My favorite sport teams are the Cleveland Indians (Go Tribe!) and the Pittsburgh Steelers.
