    Welcome to the Six Maple Team! We look forward to working with you in order to make sixth grade a successful school year for your child.
     
    Parent-teacher communication is a key factor in student success. Please don't hesitate to contact us with any questions or concerns you may have throughout the school year. Our team call in time is on Tuesdays from 8:30-9:00. However, you can also contact individual teachers at (570) 424-8430 or by simply emailing us at the addresses listed below.
     
    You can easily check your child's grades on Sapphire. You can access Sapphire from the district website main page at www.esasd.net. Just click on Sapphire in the left column. Next go to the Community Portal in order to create an account. Please note that it may take one to two days for your account to become active.

    Social Studies Curriculum Overview 
     
    Mr. DeLucca, Mr. Mitchell, Mr. Schneider, and Mrs. Symonies teach social studies to their homeroom students. The social studies curriculum focuses on map skills and ancient civilizations and includes:
