Mission Statement:
The mission of the East Stroudsburg High School-South Art Department is to make the arts accessible, inclusive and meaningful by providing our students with intellectually informed, hands-on instruction in the practice of an array of visual arts media. We are dedicated to engendering students' productive, creative, and innovative participation in the world of the visual arts by fostering creative and critical thinking, artistic expression, effective communication, and cultural awareness.
