To our ESASD employees, we realize that we are currently experiencing very challenging and unique circumstances in our country. Substitute Pre-employment Requirements
*Clearances within one year. Including FBI, Child Abuse and Criminal Clearances. Click on the "Clearances" link located on the left for instructions.
*Act 168's for all current employer(s) and all previous employment in a paid position with school age children. If you were previously employed by ESASD, HR will confirm if additional Act #168(s) are required. (Act #168 form).
*Physical within a year and a TB test within 3 months (School Health form).
In addition to providing the above, you will be asked to complete additional paperwork. Please bring a voided check and 2 forms of I.D. (driver’s license & original social security card OR passport).
Colonial Intermediate Unit 20 Emergency Substitute Teacher Training April 8, 2020
The Colonial Intermediate Unit 20 (IU 20) will be hosting a Guest Substitute Teacher Training program for individuals with a Bachelor’s Degree to become daily substitute teachers. New applicants who do not hold a valid teaching certificate but have a Bachelor's Degree are required to attend the IU 20 Guest Substitute Teacher Training. The IU 20 will conduct interviews on March 19, 2020 to participate in their full day Training Program scheduled on April 8, 2020.
