    The Office of Human Resources serves the East Stroudsburg Area School District as a gateway for employment opportunities. Applications, final interviews, confirmation of clearances, certifications, background and reference checks, and health record requirements all originate from this office. Once hired by the district, a professional employee would use the office as a source of information concerning retaining and/or expanding their certification.

    Approximately 563 support staff, 584 professional staff, 9 first level supervisors, and 42 administrators presently work in this educational community.

  • Substitute Pre-employment Requirements

     *Clearances within one year.  Including FBI, Child Abuse and Criminal Clearances.  Click on the "Clearances" link located on the left for instructions. 

     *Act 168's for all current employer(s) and all previous employment in a paid position with school age children.  If you were previously employed by ESASD, HR will confirm if additional Act #168(s) are required.  (Act #168 form).

     *Physical within a year and a TB test within 3 months  (School Health form).

     In addition to providing the above, you will be asked to complete additional paperwork.   Please bring a voided check and 2 forms of I.D. (driver’s license & original social security card OR passport).

  • Colonial Intermediate Unit 20 Emergency Substitute Teacher Training December 5, 2019

    The Colonial Intermediate Unit 20 (IU 20)  will be hosting a Substitute Teacher Training program for individuals with a Bachelor’s Degree to become daily substitute teachers. New applicants who do not hold a valid teaching certificate but have a Bachelor's Degree are required to attend the IU 20 Guest Substitute Teacher Training.  The IU 20 will conduct interviews on October 9, 2019 to participate in their full day Training Program scheduled on December 5, 2019.  Interviews and training will be held at the IU 20, 6 Danforth Drive, Easton.  For further information and to apply go to: https://www.ciu20.org/Page/329, or call 610-252-5550.
